ALL TOGETHER SERVICE
now very Sunday at 10.15am
We now have ACTIVITY BAGS
(put together by Bev) to keep children
happy and occupied – if they want
them – during the last part of the
service. The idea is that the children
(or parents) fetch a bag
and they have it with them
in their pew, and return the
bag after the service.
These will be put out on the
pew at the back of the
church after we come back from the
activities. |

PRAYERS |
A Prayer to say every day
My Lord Jesus Christ,
I thank you
for all the benefits and blessings
which you have given to me;
for all the pains and insults
you have borne for me.
O most merciful Friend,
Brother and Redeemer,
may I know you more clearly,
love you more dearly,
and follow you more nearly,
day by day. Amen
Prayer of St Richard of Chichester |
To say that I am made in the image
of
God is to say that love is the reason
for my existence, for God is love.
Love is my true identity. Selflessness
is my true self. Love is my true
character. Love is my name.
If, therefore, I do anything or think
anything or say anything or know
anything that is not purely for the love
of God, it cannot give me peace, or
rest, or fulfillment, or joy; to find love
I must enter into the sanctuary where
it is hidden, which is the mystery of
God. - Thomas Merton. |
Collect for Trinity 2
Faithful Creator, whose mercy never
fails: deepen our faithfulness to you
and to your living Word,
Jesus Christ our Lord.
